Basic information

  • Date: 27th of September (Sunday) 2015
  • Starting time: 11:00
  • Expected ending time: 16:30
  • 5 rounds, 20 minutes of basic thinking time with 40 seconds byo-yomi
  • The tournament will be FESA-rated
  • Tournament system: we will try to use McMahon with two McMahon groups: one point at start for experienced, adult players and the other group will consist of children players.
  • Registration at the venue: 10:30-10:50, we kindly ask to preregister so that we can prepare enough sets and clocks

    Venue: Wrocław, High School no 9, Piotra Skargi street 31, entry from Nowa street (!), Google Maps

    The High School no 9. is located in a 10 minute walking distance from the Main Train and Main Bus stations in Wrocław. Map.

    Public transport:
    From the Main Train Station: you can go one station (from
    Dworzec PKP to Wzgórze Partyzantów) by trams no 2, 5, 8, 9, 11.
    From the Main Bus Station: you can go two stations
    (from Dworzec Autobusowy to Wzgórze Partyzantów) by trams 8 and 9.

Shogi instuctors from Cracow, Warsaw and Wrocław intend to bring their junior students, so we expect more that 10 junior players and we will provide prizes for best children and small gifts for all juniors.
